Poshbrood just returned from a Rat-Pack-tastic stay at the glam Yosemite Grand in Palm Springs. If you like mid-century modern chic, you will adore this villa.
The villa is rental through Luxury Retreats, which made our stay there effortless. You can send them a grocery list and they'll shop for you, stock the fridge, bar, etc. for no additional cost. (Obviously you pay for the groceries...)
We went with a group of women to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Yay, girls' getaway! The house was centrally located with some of the best mountain views in Palm Springs. The 5,500 square foot home had plenty of space for all 9 of us.
The house has five stylish Hollywood Regency-inspired bedrooms each with it's own bath. One of the bedrooms is in it's own separate cottage, which would be perfect for grandparents or a nanny.
The master bedroom and the cottage offer direct access to the patio and pool area which is stunning.
The patio has cabanas, comfy lounges a gorgeous fire pit and was an amazing place to relax, sip wine and toast the bride-to-be!
The kitchen is large and perfect for cooking/entertaining large groups. We enjoyed cocktails in the media room with it's bar and adjoining patio space, complete with a sound system. Group meals were taken in the glam dining room or outside on the patio.
The Media Room/bar area are perfect for indulging in some quality down-time, with a pool table and wall-mounted flat-screen TV.
From its prime location South Palm Springs location, Yosemite Grand looks out over the beautiful expanse of Indian Canyons Golf Course, with the downtown shops and restaurants just a short distance away.
We enjoyed a morning walk about a mile to Koffi, a fab coffee shop, for iced lattes.
We loved our stay at Yosemite Grand and a few of us with kids have started hatching a plan to return for school break. The home is $1,050 a night and sleeps 10 people. For our group of nine it was only $111 a night per person to stay in this luxury Palm Springs Villa.
