Loews Regency Hotel
Poshbrood hearts Park Avenue style with superior personal service just minutes from Central Park and the Central Park Zoo, Museum Mile and Madison Avenue shopping. Loews Regency is also home to Feinsteins, the famous “Nightclub of New York.” When we arrived, it looked so gorge that we were a bit tentative with our kids plus dogs. The staff couldn’t be nicer. People were talking to the girls, petting dogs and making us feel completely at ease. Fancy schmancy guests also seemed perfectly used to small children and pets. No eye rolling here. This is because the hotel has a Loews Loves Kids and Loews Loves Pet programs. They mean it.
Lowes Love Kids sets the standard for New York City family travel, offering unique services designed to keep children healthy and happy. From special "kids" clubs, camps and menus to on-call gear, Fisher-Price toys and entertainment, Loews has everything to make travel a pleasure for your Poshbrood.
As part of the Loews Loves Pets program, your VIP (Very Important Pet) is waited on hand and paw. Loews Regency offers gourmet room service menus for cats and dogs, prepared by our award-winning Master Chef (hilar), specialized bedding, leashes, collars, litter boxes (and litter), pooper scoopers, amenities such as dog-walking routes, pet placemats, water bowls, treats, pet-walking and pet-sitting services.
We stayed in a beautiful two-room suite that was very spacious and had its own foyer. The staff was smart and kind enough to take away any breakables before our arrival. Additional amenities include 24 hour room service, 300-thread-count, 100% cotton bed Linens, terry towels and bath sheets, Bloom toiletries, Flat-screen TV, CD player, DVD player (by request) and Wi-Fi.
The hotel offers 24 hour room service but our family hung out at The Library which is a lively place to gather for light meals, cocktails and serious people watching on a comfy banquette. The girls had the famous chicken soup, chatted up neighbors, and enjoyed the bowls of M&M’s while Mom and Dad peeked over our drinks at Woody Allen & Soon Yi.
The hotel is just minutes from Central Park and the 72nd Street Playground. It was a beautiful day and our family had great fun meeting sophisticated Upper East Side darlings.
